NEuroNet is a "Network of Excellence" in Neural Networks. It aims to promote the field of Neural Networks within Europe, and in particular to encourage technology transfer. The main objectives for NEuroNet are to set up Industrial Clubs to help make neural network technology accessible to industry and to develop a Technological Roadmap to chart the state of the art and future prospects of neural networks. In addition, NEuroNet is one of four Networks of Excellence in the Computational Intelligence and Learning (CoIL) cluster, together with ERUDIT, EvoNet and MLnet. NEuroNet is working with these Networks on several activities, including the CoIL Technological Roadmap and an International Competition. |
